Wrestling Review: Extreme Rules (2015)

wrestling_extremerules
+ the Chicago crowd was super loud the whole time; a loud crowd makes even average moments seem better
+ the tag match, Cage match and Last man Standing Match were all great
+ some surprising outcomes to which I look forward to seeing the aftermath

– random squash moment in the middle helps none involved
– Daniel Bryan getting pulled from the card (due to doctor’s orders, but still… the end is coming)
– same old stuff from the same old people
– “Kiss My Ass” matches are just horrible. No exceptions here, either, unfortunately
– confusing ending to one match in particular, which hopefully will be further addressed

> Cage matches in general are often hard to get into; even in the world of pro wrestling there is just too much suspension of disbelief needed

Should you watch this event: No reason not to. The winners, losers and outcomes (generally) are hardly surprising but the loud crowd and a few far above matches make this worth seeing.
